LeAnn Kymes, along with Krauss, were among the earliest Grammy Award-winners. Alison Maria Krauss is an American bluegrass and country musician. She was born on July 23, 1971. Alison Krauss started her musical career at a young age, winning local competitions at the age of 10. The singer-songwriter recorded her first recording at the age fourteen. She signed to Rounder Records in 1985 and made her debut single album, a solo one in the year 1987. She was invited to be a part of Alison Krauss & Union Station who she is a part of.
