Taylor
Taylor Swift is that rarest of pop phenomena: a superstar who managed to completely cross over from the traditional to making her an iconic celebrity and then conquering the world in the process. Swift shed her country roots as if they were just a second skin revealing that she was arguably the smartest populist singer/songwriter of her generation one that could tap into the mood of the moment and personalize it and also perform opposite. Swift's early songs, including their neo celebration of Tim McGraw, showed off the talents of her. The album from 2008 Fearless showed a singer-songwriter who was beginning to discover herself, and gaining a huge following. The album was a huge success, not just in the United States, having six platinum-certified singles. Its Top Ten songs Love Story & I Belong with Me were the main reasons for this. It also performed very well across the globe. Swift took off to the peak of stardom after the release of Speak Now. The next three albums she released, Red (2012) 1989 (2004) and Reputation (2017) and Reputation, Swift's popularity grew and she became part of a music scene with a clear sense of where she deserved to be. It was not long before she altered her plan by releasing 2020's streamlined the folk singer (and Evermore) and stayed atop of the pop world.
