An attractive, clever and gifted actor, she's an model for Asian actors who want to make it big in Hollywood. An array of highly successful initial roles in a popular TV show made her famous for joining the cast of Ally McBeal, where she was Ling Woo. The actress took her initial fame into major screen roles in movies including Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. Her performance was outstanding as Japanese gangster O-Ren Ishii (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. Around the same time she also played lead roles in some film that did not make the top of the charts, like Rise: Blood Hunter. She then began to voice characters from animated films like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason from Cashmere Mafia was a minor role that failed to have any impact.
