Harry Edward Styles, known to the world of music in the world of music as Harry Styles, is a British musician and singer, recognized as one of the members of the group One Direction. His parents include Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was born on the 1st of February, 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where he created his own band, composed of 3 classmates. The band he called White Eskimo. Their excellent performances helped them beat their first Battle of Bands 2009. Though he's been interested in the arts, he hoping to be an lawyer or an physiotherapist. For the year 2010 Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he performed the song Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. For that reason his band had to separate. After the audition in The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles would be a part of the group that was to be dubbed One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to join the group in 2010. The group performed the song Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You along with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. As a result, they made it to the finalists. However, they finished third, a place behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles was not the winner, but Cowell had paid two million pounds as part of a deal for One Direction.
