Sofia Pernas, a Moroccan born in California who was raised as a child within Orange County. She received her graduation in the University of California, San Diego in 2015 which is the same year she got her breakthrough in acting. Pernas began her acting career through minor roles on NCIS as well as Leverage. The Young and the Restless offered Pernas the role Marisa. The actress, who left the soap in 2016 landed the role of Catalina in the role of a regular on Jane the Virgin. The model, proficient in four different languages, is currently on The Brave and The Green Ghost as Hannah Rivera. She also played in the Secret Society of Second Born Royals. She portrayed Lexi Vaziri on Blood & Treasure from 2019 to 2020. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas is in a relationship with Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. It was revealed that Chrishell Stause (the spouse of This Is Us actor) left him in November 2019 Pernas and Hartley began to date. Pernas Hartley was recently married in a secret wedding ceremony as per reports in May 2020.
