Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Roberts is from the fourth generation of Roberts family that lived in Atlanta. This began with her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was a farm. Early in his life, her dad became fascinated with acting. When he was a student in Emory University in 1952 he was a part of productions at Emory University as well as in other parts of Atlanta. When he was stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi, he was inducted into the airforce in 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was in that production as well. They got married in the year 1955 and the couple's first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter attended Tulane University at New Orleans, Louisiana in 1957 after they had separated from the Air Force of the United States. Walter started working at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of a Sunday morning show for children, Bum Bum and His Buddies. They also created a six-year Actors and Writers Workshop later in the year. They also had two children Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965, and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
